Established in 1950, the School of Mass Communication and Journalism is is the oldest journalism program in India located in India's oldest post secondary institution. Offering only post graduate degrees, the University offers positions to 100 students per year in three streams offering an M.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication, a Diploma in Media Studies : Film and Television and a. Diploma in Sports and Mass Communication Management.
