Featured Journalism School
The Graduate Diploma in Journalism at Wellington’s Massey University is designed for full-time study for graduates from a wide range of academic fields or for those with substantial life or work experience. The industry-supported program has gained an excellent reputation by maintaining a very high job placement rate over many years.
The main focus of the diploma program is on print journalism and students are given the opportunity to work on daily and community newsletters. Students also have the opportunity to do radio reporting and other broadcasting work. While the curriculum does present academic and theoretic aspects of journalism, the majority of teaching time is spent on practical skill acquisition. For more information visit the site here.
