The Annenberg School of Communication, University of Southern California

The USC Annenberg School for Communication was founded in 1971 and named for the late diplomat Walter H. Annenberg. Located in Los Angeles at the University of Southern California the school takes a multidisciplinary approaches to the study of communication and has the advantage of unparalleled access to world of entertainment and one of the world’s largest media markets.
 In 1994 two of USC's related academic departments – Communication Arts & Sciences and Journalism – merged with the Annenberg School, creating two distinct academic units within USC Annenberg: the School of Communication and the School of Journalism.
Today, with 75 full-time faculty members, more than 1,900 undergraduate and graduate students and dozens of research and public interest projects and programs, USC Annenberg has become a noted center for communication, public policy, media and education.
